Basic info: I'm a Greek Canadian operatic soprano who mostly sings loudly, and in German. Writing a personal biography is strange to me. Usually, my bio just consists of facts about my operatic career: the who, what, when and where I've sung, and what's coming next. My husband Norman is also a singer, and since our marriage five years ago, we have lived a chaotic, beautiful, nomadic, and thrilling life together. After nearly four years of non-stop traveling and living out of suitcases, we have finally settled in Vienna, Austria. Our work still takes us all over the world and provides countless opportunities and challenges, but we're happy to finally have a place to call home. I started this blog to share my travels and passions, (chief among them fashion and pug dogs), and hopefully to provide some insight into the music business, though I much prefer talking about shoes and coffee than I do auditions and opening nights!

The name Soularia was given to me by a sweet colleague, who, after several attempts at my long, complicated Greek name decided he would simply call me “Soularia Paradise”. I loved it.
